Hi, I am Christine.
I must confess that I'm not a fan of writing from a distance, as if telling someone else's story. No, I'd much rather share a cup of coffee with you and speak from the heart, as if we were curled up comfortably on my sofa. Would that be alright with you?
First and foremost, I am a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ. I wear many hats - wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, employee, and entrepreneur, to name just a few. But my deepest passion lies in being an author, speaker, and a champion of encouraging women to break free from what holds them captive and step into the fullness of their calling in God. This journey has brought me to a deep place of empathy, as I intimately understand what it's like to live a life in captivity. I've faced abuses and manipulations that held me back from being who God created me to be. It was a terrible way to live, but through God's grace, mercy, and my unyielding spirit, I can now say that I am freer than ever. The struggles still come, but I am better equipped to overcome them.
In serving as a spiritual mentor, I listen from a place of compassion, understanding the battles that others face. I seek not to give answers, but to provide guidance, knowing that true empowerment comes when we find the answers we seek on our own, guided by God's wisdom and counsel.
My relationship with God has weathered many highs and lows, including straying for many years, but I have been drawn back to Jesus like never before and have never turned back. I've diligently sought a deeper relationship with God since rededicating my life to Him in 2004. After two failed marriages, I found love and purpose with my husband John, and we co-founded Open Window Ministries, where we train spiritual leaders to be change agents in their families, businesses, and communities.
When we're not busy with our ministry, John and I love to spend time outdoors, reveling in the beauty of nature, cherishing moments with our loved ones, and savoring a cup of coffee while curled up together with a good book.
This is just a snapshot of my life, and as I reflect on it, I realize that if my life were to be summed up, I would want it to be said that "She loved God passionately and loved people well." There's so much more that could be shared, but for now, I hope this gives you a glimpse into my heart and the path that has led me here.
